It is a rose with a simple flower, height of around 40-60 cm, upright growth, the leave is dull to semi-gloss, the colour is an intense hot red. The rose is very healthy, its understated elegance and beauty becomes apparent especially in large groupings and plantings.
This rose is not just a common rose. This rose was bred on the 100th anniversary of Talbot House in Belgium. The Talbot House, founded in 1915, served in the first World War for British troops as a club for rest and recovery. It is of great importance for the British and Belgian history. At present there is a significant museum there. In June 2015 this rose was officially unveiled in London, attended by the mayor of London.
Simple rose flower and its color shall resemble a poppy flower, which in Anglo-Saxon countries traditionally symbolize fallen soldiers.
